Position Overview: Bechtel is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Engineer to join our team in San Francisco, CA. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering projects from conception through completion, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and clients, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Prepare and review engineering designs, plans, and specifications.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience managing large-scale projects and working with diverse teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and engineering tools.
- Eligibility for visa sponsorship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Experience with Bechtel’s core industries: Energy, Infrastructure, and Mining.
- Advanced degree in Engineering or Project Management.
