Attorney fees for legal representation during visa sponsorship recruitment in the U.S widely depends on the type of visa being applied for, complexity of the case and the specific law firm. However, here’s a general breakdown:

H-1B Visa (Specialty Occupations):

  • Employer-paid fees: $1,500 to $4,000 and Legal fees for an H-1B petition: $2,500 to $7,000

EB-2 or EB-3 (Employment-Based Green Cards):

  • Employer-paid fees: $5,000 to $12,000.
  • For healthcare professionals (e.g., physicians, nurses), attorney fees for these types of petitions are typically higher because the process is more complex.

TN Visa ( Canadian or Mexican healthcare professionals):

  • Employer-paid fees: $1,500 to $3,000.

The attorney’s fees cover preparing the petition, filing documents, providing counsel on compliance, and any necessary follow-ups.

Premium Processing Fee (if applicable)

  • Fee: $2,500 USD.
  • Paid to: USCIS (optional expedited processing).

These fees are approximate and may vary depending on the specific visa category, employer size, and other factors. It’s essential to check the most current fee schedules on the official websites of USCIS, Department of State, and Department of Labor before initiating the visa sponsorship process.
